Cleanliness is one of the most important features Weston’s wannaB inn offers its guests. Our Housekeepers are the staff members who perform cleaning duties at the resort.
The main task of our housekeepers is to clean guest rooms. A very thorough cleaning is done after the occupants of a unit checks out. Using a housekeeping cart to hold supplies, our housekeepers bring clean linen, bedding, cleaning materials and all other cleaning equipment to the units.
They then replace soiled linen and towels, restock soap and tissues, clean the kitchen and all dirty utensils, disinfect bathroom surfaces, dust and polish the furniture, remove all trash, vacuum any carpeted areas and wash any uncarpeted floors. Before leaving they check to ensure that the unit, including all windows, is spotless and ready for the new guests.
Our housekeepers are also responsible for notifying our maintenance department of anything in the room that is not working properly. They also turn in to Lost and Found any articles that previous guests may have left behind when they checked out.
Although a formal education is not required the wannaB inn prefers that our housekeepers have acquired at least a high school diploma or its equivalent and is at least 18 years of age . Our Housekeepers must be able to work quickly and efficiently without invading our guests’ privacy, should be able to lift and carry small to moderate amounts of weight and maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America. Must be willing to provide a Police Criminal Background check. Must be willing to sign our Drug Free Workplace Policy and submit to a Drug Test as a condition of employment.
